This is a relatively low cost card for Mercedes-Benz customers who want to earn rewards toward a new lease, loan or service as well as American Express travel and shopping benefits.

This card earns Mercedes-Benz customers 5X Membership Rewards® points on select Mercedes-Benz purchases; 3X points at gas stations (up to $15,000 per year); 2X points at restaurants; and 1X points everywhere else. The welcome offer awards 10,000 Membership Rewards® Points aftering spending $1,000 within the first 3 months. 




The Bottom Line
If you drive a Mercedes and aren’t interested in the high annual fee and luxury travel benefits offered by the Platinum version of this card, the Mercedes-Benz Amex is a good choice.

Q:  Does the 500$ per year certificate ever expire, or can I use 3 of them ($1500)for my next lease in 3 years if I spend the 5k per year..also can I make a Mercedes benz financial lease payment on my present car with this cc, and if so, would those payments be eligible for the 5x Amex points, and the 5k threshold to be eligible for the $500 certificate. Finally, are any models excluded from this offer?, thx so much, brad
