This card is ideal for the frequent Delta traveler who appreciates high status tiers and valuable perks like discounted Delta Sky Club® access, higher status tiers, and an annual companion certificate.

Review of the Platinum Delta SkyMiles Credit Card

The Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card offers all the benefits of the Gold version (included 2X miles on Delta purchases), plus discounted Delta Sky Club® Access, Annual Miles Boost, and an annual companion certificate. Plus, you can earn MQMs towards higher Medallion status. If you value higher tier status or take at least one trip a year with a companion, either would justify the higher annual fee of this Platinum version.




The Bottom Line
For many, the Platinum version is a “just right” option that earns a much wider range of rewards than the Gold version, without the higher annual fee of the Reserve version.
