The Premier Rewards Gold charge card is an ideal choice for frequent travellers who want the flexibility of no-set spending limit, can pay their balance every month, and are looking to earn multiplied points on flights, groceries, and restaurants.

Review of the The American Express® Gold Card

Although you have to pay your balance every month, this charge card offers multiplied points in a good mix of popular categories: flights, groceries, gas, and restaurants.  Plus, with the $100 Airline Fee credit, the 50,000 point welcome offer, and additional travel perks, this card is well worth the $100 difference in the annual fee of the Green version.

Pro Tip:

Membership Rewards® points can be used to purchase gift cards, redeemed for a variety of rewards such as airline tickets, hotel stays, and merchandise, or transferred to frequent flyer programs.




The Bottom Line
