Best For...
This card allows frequent Asiana Airlines passengers to redeem miles for flight awards, upgrades, baggage charges, lounge access, and more.

Review of the Asiana Visa Signature card

As a Visa Signature card, the Bank of America Asiana Visa Signature® Credit Card comes with a wide range of benefits including roadside assistance, lost luggage reimbursement, travel accident insurance, and more.

Points are earned at a rate of 3X for Asiana Airlines purchases, 2X for gas and groceries, and 1X for everything else.

The best features of this card are its recurring annual bonus miles.  Each year, cardholders earn 10,000 bonus miles, two Asiana Airline lounge invitations, and a $100 rebate on Asiana Airlines ticket purchases.  These benefits alone pay for the $99 annual fee.  The drawback is the fact that the travel perks aren’t quite as good as those offered by other airlines. For example, you won’t get free checked bags or priority boarding with this card.  Consequently, if you are flying with one of Asiana’s Star Alliance partners, it would be better to use one of its partner cards to get those perks.

The Bottom Line
The $100 annual rebate on Asiana flights along with the 10,000 mile certificate make this card a bargain for frequent Asiana Airline flyers, but the travel perks aren’t quite as good as those offered by other airlines.
