With Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard, you earn unlimited 2X miles on all Hawaiian Airlines purchases and 1X miles on everything else. During the first year, you can earn 35,000 bonus miles after spending just $1,000 within the first 90 days. This makes the card very attractive the first year, but after that you’ll only earn just 5,000 in annual bonus miles after you spend $10,000 and $100 off a companion ticket. If you travel to Hawaii with a companion every year, this may be enough to justify ongoing use of the card. But if not, the value of this card doesn’t hold up after the first year.
