With a $450 annual fee, this card is expensive but offers premium travel benefits including United Club membership (up to a $550 value).

Review of the United MileagePlus Club Card

With the United MileagePlus Club Card you'll earn unlimited 2X miles on United ticket purchases and 1.5X on all other purchases. Miles can be redeemed to book travel with Star Alliance™ and other partner airlines, upgrades, inflight purchases, hotel stays, and car rentals. Miles can also be used for merchandise, gift cards, and special events.

With this card you'll earn 50,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. And since one-way Saver Award travel starts as low as 12,500 miles, these bonus miles can go a long way towards your next trip.

The main difference between this card and the United MileagePlus Explorer card (which has a much lower $95 annual fee) is that with the Club card you'll get extra travel benefits including:

United Club membership (up to a $550 value)
World of Hyatt Discoverist Status
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards® President’s Circle® Elite Status

If lounge access and other travel perks are important to you, the $450 fee is justified; otherwise, consider the Explorer version of the card, which has fewer perks but a much lower annual fee.
